Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maneuvers heavy equipment and operates complex mechanisms for construction and maintenance of roadways, sidewalks, and drainage.
• Operates excavator, track hoe, backhoe, and loaders for digging and material handling with attention to tolerances.
• Drives large vehicles to move equipment; performs basic preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Performs manual labor as needed; follows safety procedures and directs traffic around work sites.
• Communicates with supervisor and the public to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.
