Job Description Summary

In this Facing Engineering role, you will need to demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives within Gas Power.

What impact you’ll make?

Responsible for the profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts and customer obligations, providing service agreement, fixed price, and time and material program management, and interacting with teams such as customer service, parts and transactional services, field service, repair service, and others, supporting GE VERNOVA SQDC and Lean Principles for an optimized impact.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between internal/external organizations for assigned customers, own the customer relationship, and contribute to the overall NAM POWER business strategy.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, act as the single point of contact, and manage communication for the region.
  • Manage customer portfolio P&L and seek growth opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing Gas Turbine technical and business support to customers.
  • Develop and own site customer communication plans, regularly review products/services that could add value.
  • Oversee warranty and commercial considerations, including concessions, balancing benefits for the customer and GE VERNOVA.
  • Manage outage scope, communicate scope, and coordinate with the Outage support team.
  • Lead outage resolution and organize related meetings.
  • Coordinate on-site repairs, manage contract leadership, and oversee project deliverables and contractual terms.
  • Promote flow-type services such as Parts and Lease Engine opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in power generation, with 8-10 years in industry or 6-7 years with an associate degree.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Power Industry, Technical Field Services, or Contract Management with strong Gas Turbine knowledge.
Eligibility

No sponsorship or immigration support; must be authorized to work in the US and willing to travel within the region (OH, PA, WV, IN, NY, MD, DE, KY).

Desired Characteristics
  • Degree in technical/engineering fields preferred.
  • Experience planning outages, strong leadership, financial, and commercial skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Additional Info

GE will only employ those authorized to work in the US. Employment is contingent on passing a drug screen. The position offers a remote/hybrid work model and a pay range of $120,000 - $165,400 plus a performance bonus.
