Job summary

Bay Ltd. is seeking an experienced Crane Operator Heavy1 to operate mobile or stationary cranes, lift and position loads, and ensure safe transfer of heavy objects on our Texas site.

This role covers Swing Cab (TLL) and Fixed Cab (TSS) operations with strict safety adherence. Required qualifications include a valid state license to operate heavy equipment, NCCCO crane operator certification, and 15+ years in related fields, plus the ability to pass drug, background, and fit-for-duty tests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in crane operation or related field.
• Valid state license to operate heavy equipment.
• NCCCO crane operator certification.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and fit-for-duty assessment.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to FMCSA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate telescoping, lattice, all-terrain and other cranes as specified.
• Review lift plan and confirm crane choices to meet lift requirements.
• Calculate load capacity and weight relative to crane limits per manufacturer specs.
• Inspect clearances, obstructions, and ground conditions for safe setup.
• Set up crane per manual and safety guidelines; follow safety procedures.
• Direct supervision signals and coordinate with riggers and site staff.
• Maintain logs and comply with FMCSA safety regulations.
