Job summary

Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil projects in Northern California from pre-construction through completion.

The role requires taking ownership of delivery, coordinating with estimators, superintendents, subcontractors and clients to ensure safety, quality and profitability across grading, paving, utilities and water infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing heavy civil projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Solid budgeting, scheduling and forecast abilities.
• Ability to coordinate field and office teams effectively.
• Experience with public works, transportation or utilities projects.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of assigned heavy civil projects from handover through closeout.
• Coordinate field operations with Superintendents and Foremen.
• Develop and track schedules, milestones and progress.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Review plans, contracts and scopes for requirements and risks.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal crews.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
• Ensure safety, quality and contract compliance on site.
• Maintain communication with owners, engineers and inspectors.
• Support procurement and ensure material availability.
