Job summary

Michigan Paving and Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee heavy civil construction projects from start to finish. You will manage subcontractor relationships, schedules, and project financials while ensuring safety and quality across site operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in a similar position, strong computer skills (Revu BlueBeam, MS Office, Viewpoint), and the ability to communicate effectively with owners and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy civil construction or equivalent role; 3–5 years preferred.
• Advanced computer skills including Revu BlueBeam and MS Office.
• Knowledge of scheduling and construction cost tracking is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and contracts.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify cost estimates and collaborate withEstimators during handoff.
• Issue, execute, and manage subcontracts with Contract Admins.
• Frequent project site visits and related meetings.
• Maintain accurate construction schedules for managed projects.
• Analyze and report project revenue on a daily/weekly basis.
• Monitor job cost performance and drive improvements.
• Conduct post-build analysis to identify performance drivers.
• Promote safety and address field concerns proactively.
