Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of estimating, cost analysis, manufacturing, engineering, proposal support, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of cost-estimating principles and methodologies in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and Bills of Material.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications, drawings, and proposal requirements to determine project scope and estimating needs.
• Develop cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontracted services, and other costs.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Proposal Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and others to validate estimate assumptions.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Analyze historical cost data to identify trends, discrepancies, and risks.
• Maintain estimating documentation and tools to support accuracy and consistency.
• Support proposal development with timely cost information and revisions.
