Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the WWPS HCLS team in a role focused on healthcare and ISV customer cloud journeys. You will partner with account teams, design scalable cloud solutions, and lead customer education across large enterprise environments.

You will engage in architecture discussions, produce technical content, and mentor teams while aligning with AWS best practices and HIPAA/HITRUST considerations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• In partnership with the account management team, formulate and execute a strategy.
• Educate customers on AWS value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions for cloud deployment.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable cloud advocacy.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.
