Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect for the AWS WWPS HCLS segment in the Arlington, VA area. You will partner with premier Healthtech and ISV customers to design scalable, resilient cloud architectures using AWS services.

Lead architecture discussions and drive adoption with enterprise clients in collaboration with account managers. You will influence strategic directions, craft cloud solutions that address business problems, and mentor teams while communicating complex

Qualifications

2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
4+ years in software, cloud, systems engineering, data & analytics domains.
4+ years IT development or implementation in the software/Internet industries.
Experience with migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud (preferred).

Responsibilities

Ensure success in building, migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
Formulate and execute strategic plans in partnership with account management.
Educate customers on AWS value and participate in deep architectural discussions for cloud deployments.
Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
Build deep relationships with senior technical stakeholders to enable cloud advocacy.
Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering, and support.
