Job summary

Phreesia is seeking a Senior Product Counsel - Healthcare to join our Legal team remotely. You will be the legal partner for product teams, translating complex healthcare regulations into practical guidance while navigating HIPAA, state privacy laws, anti-kickback, and other regulatory domains that touch our software.

You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

8+ years of healthcare regulatory experience across a top-tier law firm and in-house roles.
Licensed to practice law in your state of residence.
Substantial product counseling experience including advising product teams on regulated products, from concept through launch.

Responsibilities

Provide healthcare regulatory analysis across HIPAA and related areas.
Partner with Product to advise on regulatory feasibility for each product.
Develop rapid understanding of new regulated domains.
Turn regulatory complexity into actionable guidance with cross-functional teams.
Help build processes to enable faster, compliant execution.
Protect patient data with the Chief Privacy Officer.
Support the Legal team and colleagues in doing their best work.
