Job summary

Medica is seeking a Strategic Business Initiatives Leader to serve as a senior strategic advisor and execution partner to the Chief Growth & Strategy Officer and SVP Product Strategy and Business Development. This role operates within a complex SVP/VP leadership structure to translate market strategy into actionable plans and ensure alignment and momentum across teams.

The position is onsite at the Minnetonka office, offering a competitive salary range and a generous total rewards package,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10 years of experience and 5 years of leadership experience.
• Significant experience in health care strategy, health plan operations, or payer-side leadership.
• Proven ability to operate at the SVP/VP level, influencing without authority and driving work forward.
• Strong strategic planning, organizational, and follow-through capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; advanced PowerPoint and executive storytelling skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and make sound judgments in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Advise CGSO & SVP Product Strategy on enterprise growth and priority setting.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Markets, Product, and Growth priorities.
• Lead executive forums and prepare agendas with measurable outcomes.
• Ensure clear decisions, ownership, and follow-through across SVP/VP leadership.
• Translate strategy into executable action plans and drive accountability.
