Job summary

Louisiana Blue is seeking an experienced software engineer who can design, develop, test, and maintain complex applications with minimal supervision. You will act as a technical expert across projects, participate in requirements, design, and code reviews, and document technical specifications for internal or market-facing software.

You will gather stakeholder needs, model data, and implement robust solutions using C#, SSRS/SSIS, SQL, XML and Azure data services, while guiding peers and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of software development experience required.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong skills in C#, SSRS/SSIS, SQL, XML and Azure data tools.
• Ability to guide teams and communicate with business partners.
• Experience with Epic certifications may be required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software for market sale or internal use.
• Serve as a technical expert on development projects and participate in lifecycle.
• Create detailed technical specifications from business requirements.
• Develop data models and test cases; perform debugging and validation.
• Provide training and mentoring to peers and maintain system documentation.
• Evaluate new technologies and ensure SDLC compliance.
