Jobot is actively seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Associate to join its nationally recognized healthcare and life sciences practice in New Jersey or New York. The role offers meaningful client contact and exposure to federal and state healthcare regulations, licensing, reimbursement, and enforcement matters.

You will work with senior healthcare attorneys, have substantial drafting responsibility, and help advise a broad range of healthcare providers and businesses.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in healthcare regulatory law at a law firm, government, healthcare organization, or comparable legal environment.
• Familiarity with Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, and related healthcare laws.
• Strong writing, research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to advise on complex healthcare business arrangements and provide practical, business‑oriented advice.
• New Jersey Bar admission is required or must be obtainable promptly; New York admission is helpful.

Aufgaben

• Advise healthcare providers and businesses on federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Counsel clients regarding the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, fee-splitting restrictions, and corporate practice of medicine requirements.
• Analyze proposed healthcare business arrangements and recommend compliant structures.
• Draft and negotiate physician employment agreements, professional services agreements, management services agreements, medical director agreements, vendor agreements, and other healthcare contracts.
• Advise physician groups, medical practices, pharmacies, laboratories, ambulatory surgery centers, behavioral health organizations, telehealth companies, and other healthcare entities.
• Counsel clients on provider enrollment, credentialing, reimbursement, billing compliance, overpayments, audits, recoupments, and payor disputes.
• Assist with healthcare transactions, including regulatory due diligence, change-of-ownership matters, licensing, entity structuring, and post-closing integration.
• Advise on HIPAA, HITECH, business associate agreements, privacy, data use, and information‑sharing requirements.
• Develop and assess compliance programs, policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Conduct internal compliance reviews and investigations.
• Advise clients regarding voluntary disclosures, self‑disclosures, and responses to government inquiries.
• Prepare legal memoranda, regulatory analyses, client alerts, policies, agreements, and other client‑facing work product.
• Monitor developments in federal and state healthcare laws and provide practical guidance to clients.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys across healthcare litigation, corporate, employment, pharmacy, reimbursement, and life sciences practices.
