Job summary

KingRecruitingServices seeks a Senior Job Captain for its Healthcare Division in New York. The candidate will lead production of architectural drawings from schematic to construction documents for inpatient and ambulatory care projects, coordinating with clients and consultants.

Must have 10+ years in healthcare project documentation, strong communication skills, and deep familiarity with NYC/NY State Codes, ADA, and NFPA guidelines. Salary range listed below.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of continuous project documentation experience in ambulatory care and inpatient projects.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• Strong understanding of NYC and NYS Building Codes, ADA compliance, NFPA 2012 Healthcare, FGI 2018 Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in DOB and DOH code review and building analysis.
• Lead the production of drawings from schematic design through construction documents.
• Coordinate architectural documents with other consultants.
• Review and markup architectural documents and respond to RFIs during GC bidding and construction phases.
• Attend construction administration meetings and write field reports.
