Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a Project Manager, Specialist to lead complex, high-risk projects and portfolios in the health sector. You will mentor teams, manage client expectations, and ensure delivery on schedule and within budget, while upholding governance and quality standards.

Applicants should bring 7+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and PMP or Six Sigma certification (or waiver for extensive experience).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience is required.
• PMP or Six Sigma certification required (can be waived with 10+ years of direct and relevant Project Management experience).

Responsibilities

• Oversees one or more complex, high-risk, or strategic projects and/or portfolios, with accountability for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery.
• Leads project teams of up to 100 employees concurrently, with annual contract values up to $50M and complexity up to 300,000 hours.
• Leads the development and execution of project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, client requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Mentors and provides thought leadership to other Project Managers, serving as a functional lead.
