Job summary

Shepley Bulfinch seeks a Senior Healthcare Planner to partner with institutional healthcare clients and internal teams on projects of all scales. This hybrid role, based in Houston with flexibility to work from five studio locations, supports business development and integrates planning concepts with design vision.

You will mentor junior planners, manage space programs, and coordinate with consultants, regulators, and project teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of healthcare planning experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and Affinity Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are desired.
• Solid interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programming and space planning needs for projects.
• Develop and communicate planning concepts in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Lead internal planning teams, monitor schedules, and ensure key milestones are met.
• Prepare and coordinate regulatory approval documentation as required.
• Mentor and develop junior Project Planners and support team growth.
