Job summary

Shepley Bulfinch in Houston, TX is seeking a healthcare planner to work with institutional clients and internal teams on projects of all scales. The role is hybrid and can be done from any of our five studio locations.

You will develop planning concepts, coordinate with consultants, and help facilitate meetings, while aligning with regulatory requirements and design vision. Five-studio flexibility supports professional growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare programming and space planning.
• Ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams.
• Familiar with codes, regulations and design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop planning concepts and ensure alignment with design vision.
• Coordinate with consultants to integrate requirements.
• Lead user groups, stakeholder and public meetings.
• Develop space plans addressing project parameters and user needs.
• Maintain program documentation and assist with regulatory approvals.
• Stay current on planning trends and evidence-based design principles.
• Participate in performance reviews to support development.
