Job summary

Rancho Family Medical Group seeks an Operations Director to oversee clinical operations across a 14-clinic network, ensuring high-quality patient care and strong financial performance.

The role reports to the Vice President of Operations and leads clinic-level managers, with responsibilities including budgeting, performance improvement, and launching new clinics in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team development experience.
• Experience with value-based care environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead Operations Managers and oversee performance of Office Managers and clinic staff.
• Establish operational standards and ensure consistent execution across all clinic locations.
• Maintain full operational P&L accountability for assigned clinic operations.
• Monitor financial performance including revenue, visit volumes, and provider productivity.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance while maintaining quality of care.
• Partner with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and reviews.
• Own the performance management framework with operational KPIs and scorecards.
• Present clinic performance updates and improvement plans to executives.
