Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist in Pulmonary Medicine to coordinate daily operations that support clinic access, provider schedules, staff, payroll, space, and technology across division-wide workflows.

The role requires prioritization, problem solving, and clear communication across teams and systems to ensure efficient, compliant operations and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Preferred: Healthcare administration experience, including proficiency with Epic and Workday.
• Preferred: Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring team members.
• Preferred: Demonstrated success leading projects, process improvement initiatives, or operational change efforts.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the dept./facility in collaboration with leadership and staff.
• Develop and monitor business processes, policies and procedures for improved utilization, quality and operations.
• Manage finances, budgets, revenue cycle management, and cost controls across the division.
• Coordinate projects, track progress, and prepare internal reports and communications.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, patient flow, and safety across workflows.

Education
