Responsibilities

• Oversee and support Material Management activities and staff ensuring a smooth customer-focused experience.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve overall Material operations.
• Manage day-to-day activities involving Recalls and Recommendations by governing bodies.
• Plan logistics, standardization and utilization of supplies and equipment in designated areas of responsibility.
• Introduction and management of Material Inventory systems.
• Ensure compliance of Occupational Health and Safety and a safe workplace for all.
• Monitor and oversee Vendor activities in designated areas of responsibility.
• Identify and manage continuous improvement projects.
• Resolve any arising problems and escalating issues as required.
• Assist in solving day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
• Apply supply chain best practices to identify, analyze, and recommend quick-win opportunities.
