Job summary

Michigan Outpatient Surgical Solutions is seeking a full-time Materials Manager to oversee inventory control, ordering and stocking of medical supplies across the facility. The role supports the surgical team and ensures compliance with state standards and facility policies.

Responsibilities include managing par levels, using the automated inventory system, and coordinating with departments to ensure timely deliveries and proper inventory flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years receiving and inventory experience in a health care environment required.
• Knowledge of computer inventory management systems and various software programs; familiarity with medical products.
• Working knowledge of stocking and storing medical and non-medical supplies.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for inventory control including ordering and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Maintains par levels and uses automated inventory systems.
• Interface with departments to ensure proper placement, follow-up and delivery of orders.
• Supports surgical team and adheres to facility policies and state standards.
