Whitman Advisory Job Community is seeking an experienced Healthcare Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling healthcare litigation, regulatory matters, and related disputes. The role emphasizes document preparation, calendaring, and deadline management within a fast-paced law firm environment.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in litigation support, strong knowledge of New Jersey and New York filing rules, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of legal assistant experience in litigation.
• Healthcare litigation or healthcare law experience preferred.
• Experience with NJ/NY state and federal e-filing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and litigation support including document prep and calendaring.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, subpoenas, and other documents.
• Coordinate attorney schedules, court appearances, depositions, and meetings.
• Handle e-filings through NJ E-Courts, NYSCEF, PACER and others.
• Assist with discovery, trial prep, and evidence organization.
• Open matters, conduct conflict checks, maintain case files.
• Communicate with clients, courts, counsel, providers, and vendors.
• Assist with billing, time entries, expenses, and travel.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with privacy requirements.
