Work involves maintaining catalogs, monitoring usage, and collaborating with Corporate Purchasing to ensure timely deliveries. Shifts total 8 hours per week, with two 4-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5 years of inventory management and distribution experience in a health care setting.
• Working knowledge of computerized purchasing and materials management/distribution systems.
• Excellent communication, human relations, and analytical skills with all health care personnel.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains cost effective maintenance and monitoring programs for inventory.
• Establishes a follow-up program to monitor supply system effectiveness.
• Coordinates inventory quantities across sites using ASLMC Services.
• Serves as main contact for inquiries about inventory transfers between facilities.
• Resolves procurement issues including vendor disputes and invoice discrepancies.
• Reviews and recommends changes to base inventory data levels.
• Provides analytical data to support recommendations and cost saving opportunities.
• Maintains product catalogs and electronic catalogs for all products.
