Job summary

Care Logistics in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Senior Interface Engineer to lead design, development, delivery, and support of hospital system interfaces across clinical and operational workflows. You will drive HL7 and FHIR integrations and mentor junior engineers, leveraging Rhapsody and other healthcare IT tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6-8+ years of experience in interface development, preferably in healthcare IT.
• Proven experience with FHIR standards and FHIR integrations.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading other engineers and leading client-facing engagements.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.
• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies and change management.
• Ability to work independently and lead collaborative efforts in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency with all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with internal teams and client stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver complex interface solutions.
• Critically evaluate information, reconcile conflicts, and relate high level information to details.
• Design and oversee interface architecture and integration strategy for complex projects.
• Develop and execute interface test plans and review work of other engineers.
• Lead integration interviews and discussions with internal teams and external customers.
• Escalate and troubleshoot complex interface issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level interface engineers.
• Lead go-live support and post-implementation optimization efforts.
• Develop and maintain interface design guides and flow diagrams; establish best practices.
• Lead transition-to-support processes and knowledge transfer to the support team.
