Are you the type of healthcare analyst who doesnt stop at what happened, you want to understand why it happened, what it means, and what the business should do next?
Were looking for a Senior Healthcare Informatics Analyst to join a healthcare organization and provide advanced analytics focused on improving how healthcare is valued, utilized, measured, and delivered.
This is a hands-on, senior-level individual contributor role with a strong emphasis on healthcare trend analysis, medical cost and utilization, patient outcomes, provider performance, predictive modeling, and risk-adjusted revenue optimization.
Youll work with large, complex healthcare datasets and collaborate with teams across Clinical, Actuarial, Provider Reimbursement, Payment Innovation, IT, and other business areas to transform data into insights that support meaningful strategic decisions.
If you can find the trend, explain whats driving it, and communicate why it matters, we want to talk to you.
Youll independently lead analytical work across some of the most important areas of healthcare performance, including:

You should have:
Were especially interested in candidates with experience using technologies such as:
SQL | SAS | Python | R | Tableau | Enterprise Data Warehouses | BI & Visualization Tools
Advanced SAS experience, including SAS Enterprise Miner, is highly desirable.
You dont necessarily need every technology listed above. What matters most is your ability to work independently with complex healthcare data and use the appropriate analytical tools to uncover meaningful insights.
Youll really stand out if your background includes experience with:
Knowledge of clinical and risk groupers such as DRG, APC, ETG, MEG, DxCG, and HCC is highly desirable.
Experience with healthcare quality measures such as HEDIS and AHRQ is also valuable.
Youll collaborate across the organization with teams including Clinical Solutions, Clinical Partnerships, Actuarial, Provider Reimbursement, Payment Innovation, Enterprise Information Management, IT, Marketing, external vendors, and other healthcare partners.
This means communication matters just as much as technical ability. Youll need to be comfortable explaining sophisticated analytical findings to everyone from analysts and developers to business managers and executive leadership.
Success in this role isnt measured by how many reports you produce.
Its measured by your ability to take a complex healthcare question and move it through:
Business Question -> Data -> Analysis -> Trend -> Insight -> Recommendation
Youll become a trusted analytics partner who can independently identify trends, uncover opportunities, challenge assumptions with data, and provide insights that support better cost, utilization, provider, risk, and healthcare outcomes.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare, data, technology, and strategy.
Rather than simply maintaining dashboards or running established reports, youll have the opportunity to dig into complex healthcare problems and help influence decisions around medical cost management, utilization, provider performance, population health, and risk optimization.
If youre a senior healthcare analytics professional who wants your work to do more than describe the data, you want it to influence what happens next, this is the opportunity for you.
