The Sr. Field Account Manager supports service and engagement with customers to strengthen relationships with UnitedHealthcare. Responsibilities include educating customers on their benefit plans, wellness resources, and communicating administrative or service-related changes (e.g., network or pharmacy preferred drug changes). The role emphasizes coordinating with internal teams to resolve customer issues, conducting open enrollment meetings, wellness fairs, and facilitating communication between customers and internal service teams, including education on escalation paths.

Residents of Indiana may work remotely* to tackle challenging issues.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Support the customer service experience at the field level by collaborating with the UMR Operations Team and other partners to resolve issues promptly.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to manage customer service.
  3. Support the SAE in resolving elevated customer requests, working with the Operations Team, and conducting customer consultations.
  4. Facilitate regular customer meetings with the Operations Team to monitor issues and trends.
  5. Train customers on web services and reporting tools.
  6. Update the SAE on service trends, usage reporting, wellness initiatives, and improvement opportunities.
  7. Participate in new business and finalist presentations to represent service experience.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with customers and brokers/consultants as needed.
  9. Coordinate enrollment materials and resolve pre-implementation issues with the Implementation Team.
  10. Conduct enrollment meetings and health fairs.
  11. Demonstrate healthcare industry knowledge relevant to the customer’s industry.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
  • Insurance license as required by law within 30 days of hire.
  • At least 2 years in a client-facing service role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills in various settings.
  • Interpersonal skills to influence internal partners.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% as needed.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over 5 years of healthcare industry experience.
  • Experience with Labor & Trust or Taft-Hartley funds.
  • Background in Human Resources or Medical Benefits.

The hourly pay range is $24.04 to $55.29, based on full-time employment and various factors including location, experience, and certifications. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401(k).
