Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform basic and preventative maintenance across our facilities. You will support plant operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment, with attention to safety and quality.

Daily tasks include responding to service calls, performing repairs, and assisting with carpentry and painting. Prior experience in commercial or hospital maintenance is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Driver's license required.
• 2–3 years in commercial or building maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment.
• Respond to service calls for maintenance in healthcare facilities.
• Assist in painting, carpentry, and other tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty issues and price proposals.
• Ensure safety and compliance with city/state codes and JCAHO.
