Job summary

UST is seeking an Senior EDI Developer to design, develop, and optimize HIPAA X12 integrations within a Facets-centric ecosystem in Seattle. The role demands 8+ years IT experience with 5+ years in Healthcare Payer & EDI, plus hands-on Edifecs/TriZetto HIPAA Gateway, BizTalk, and Facets work.

You will implement and optimize mappings, validation, and partner integrations for high-volume workflows. Collaboration with Facets and business teams to deliver EDI enhancements and onboarding, testing,

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience
• 5+ years Healthcare Payer & EDI experience
• 3+ years Edifecs/TriZetto HIPAA Gateway experience
• Hands-on development of HIPAA X12 transactions: 834, 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278, 820, 999, 277CA
• Experience with Edifecs Suite, TriZetto HIPAA Gateway, BizTalk, Facets
• Proficiency in SQL Server/Oracle, Unix/Linux, SFTP, Batch Processing
• API integrations, XML/XSD, JSON; HL7/FHIR preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize EDI solutions
• Develop EDI mappings, validations, routing logic, and trading partner integrations
• Implement HIPAA X12 transactions across multiple domains
• Optimize EDI maps and support high-volume processing
• Support trading partner onboarding, testing, certification, deployments
• Collaborate with Facets and business teams to deliver enhancements
