Job summary

JCW Group, a well-established regional bank, is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join its Healthcare team onsite in New York. The role focuses on underwriting and portfolio management for a healthcare book spanning skilled nursing, senior living, and medical practices.

You will analyze borrower financials, prepare credit memos, and collaborate with Relationship and Portfolio Managers on deal structuring and credit recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial credit underwriting, credit analysis, or portfolio management.
• Healthcare lending experience (skilled nursing, senior living, or medical practices) is a plus, with flexibility for junior candidates.
• Strong financial statement, cash flow, and credit analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and existing healthcare credit facilities, including agented and syndicated transactions across cash flow loans, revolvers, and term loans.
• Analyze borrower financials, cash flow, collateral, and overall credit quality.
• Prepare comprehensive credit memos for new loans, renewals, and modifications.
• Partner closely with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers on deal structuring and credit recommendations.
• Monitor portfolio performance and covenant compliance to ensure adherence to bank credit policy.
• Review legal documentation for accuracy and compliance with approval requirements.
