Job summary

Propeller, a Summit, NJ-based healthcare marketing agency, is seeking a Senior Copywriter in New York, NY. You will develop pharmaceutical marketing materials, training content, and corporate communications, including product launches, ads, brochures, emails, and social media.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of healthcare ad copywriting, a strong portfolio, excellent communication skills, and a knowledge of science and medicine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of healthcare advertising copywriting experience.
• Copywriter portfolio, or "spec" portfolio demonstrating strong creative abilities.
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge, background and/or interest in science and medicine.

Responsibilities

• Develop a variety of pharmaceutical marketing, training, and corporate communication materials and programs, including product launch planning and asset creation, journal and banner ads, print and digital brochures/fact sheets, emails, video storyboards, web copy, and social media ads
• Give, receive, and implement feedback from Supervisor and other departments and clients
• Attend client meetings and off-site workshops as needed
• Communicate with Supervisor and team members about deadlines, ideas, and questions about projects or processes
• Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment
• Maintain up-to-date files on Company’s internal file sharing system
• Develop resources to assist the Writing and Account teams maintain up-to-date information about product claims, language changes, references, trademarks, etc.
• Recognize problems with process or quality of jobs and provide solutions
