Job summary

Michael Page is assisting a client in recruiting a Construction Superintendent for healthcare-focused projects in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves overseeing subcontractors on site, supervising personnel, and maintaining safety and quality standards while managing multiple sites and on-site financials.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Superintendent experience, plus a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, with a strong track record in retail/light commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Engineering or Architecture is a plus.
• 5+ years of Superintendent experience.
• Experience with retail and light commercial construction.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors on site.
• Supervise and evaluate all assigned personnel.
• Create and maintain a positive and safe work environment.
• Review and approve invoices and requisitions to ensure correct payments to vendors.
• Occasionally assist with site work.
• Administer a Quality Control Plan on site.
• Create a baseline production schedule for projects.
• Hold preconstruction meetings with subcontractors before each phase.
