Job summary

Consertus-US is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead healthcare capital projects in active hospital environments. You will manage planning, design, commissioning, and occupancy while maintaining patient care and infection control standards.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, design reviews, and stakeholder communications, ensuring regulatory compliance and successful project delivery. On-site role with opportunities for impact across healthcare campuses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in healthcare construction, healthcare facilities, or owner's representation.
• Experience managing projects in occupied acute care hospitals and healthcare campuses.
• Strong understanding of healthcare facility operations and clinical environments.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects ranging from renovations to major capital expansions.
• Proficiency with project scheduling, budgeting, and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage healthcare construction projects from planning and design through commissioning and occupancy.
• Develop schedules, scopes, budgets, risk registers, and communication plans.
• Lead design reviews to align with clinical, operational, and facility objectives.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare executive-level reports on status, budget, schedule, and risks.
• Develop phasing and logistics plans to minimize disruption to patient care and hospital operations.
• Coordinate construction activities around critical healthcare services.
• Ensure contractor compliance with Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) and Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA).
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and facilities teams to manage impacts to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow projections.
• Review payment applications and change orders.
• Evaluate cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
• Monitor contingencies and performance through project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, accreditation readiness, and occupancy approvals.
• Maintain project documentation for regulatory reviews.
