Job summary

UCI Health seeks an experienced executive to lead healthcare, research, and privacy compliance programs across Health and School of Medicine. You will partner with top leadership to design, implement and monitor robust compliance controls for hospitals, clinics and affiliated entities.

Ideal candidate brings 5+ years in senior healthcare compliance leadership, deep knowledge of Medicare/Medicare rules, HIPAA, and state privacy regulations, plus strong communication and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ executive leadership experience (Director or higher) in inpatient healthcare.
• Minimum 10 years’ progressive management responsibility.
• Knowledge of federal and state health care regulations including Medicare, Medi-Cal, HIPAA and state privacy rules.
• Extensive corporate compliance experience in health care, including 5+ years as Chief Compliance Officer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Certified in Health Care Compliance or within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.

• Develop and evaluate compliance controls and programs in collaboration with executive leadership.
• Apply regulations and industry trends to implement compliant processes across hospitals and clinics.
