Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Senior Compliance Specialist to join the Compliance Office. You will plan and conduct audits, respond to inquiries, and prepare reports with actionable recommendations.

The role collaborates with Revenue Cycle, Quality, Pharmacy, and Laboratory teams. Requires five years in reimbursement/coding and knowledge of HIPAA, ICD/CPT coding. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least five years in health care reimbursement, coding operations, or compliance.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding.
• Strong critical thinking and data analysis using multiple sources.
• Preferred CPC-H and/or CMAS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Audit compliance plans and conduct independent reviews.
• Respond to inquiries and complaints.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Track health care reimbursement risk assessments and communicate results.
• Develop training and internal controls for reimbursement education.
• Create standard reports and share findings with Compliance Leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of HIPAA and related regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
