Qualifications

• 7+ years of agency or in-house experience in communications/PR
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple engagements
• Strong writing, editing and executive messaging skills
• Experience in proactive and crisis communications for healthcare clients
• Ability to build senior-level client relationships and provide strategic counsel
• Wamiliarity with integrated marketing campaigns and healthcare communications

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships and serve as trusted advisor to senior client contacts
• Lead agency team and ensure successful execution, timelines and results
• Provide strategic counsel and anticipate client issues with a strong point of view
• Oversee creation and execution of communications plans and executive messaging for healthcare audiences
• Collaborate across teams to bring in disciplines and deliver value
• Draft materials including plans, scenario plans, reactive statements and messaging
• Identify growth opportunities and pitch innovative ideas aligned with client goals
• Work autonomously with limited oversight and mentor junior staff
