Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to accelerate our public sector cloud adoption for healthcare not-for-profit providers and academic medical centers.

You will own the technical engagement, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and become a security SME for customer applications on AWS. You'll lead design discussions, share best practices with the AWS solution architect community, and collaborate with sales and partners to deliver successful cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry experience.
• Experience with one or more of the following: EHR Systems; FHIR/HL7; PACS; HIPAA/Hitrust.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, develop deep expertise in AWS technologies.
• Be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
• Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to strategize and execute deployments.
