Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to transform healthcare through cloud technology. You will design HIPAA-compliant architectures that integrate with Epic and Cerner and enable AI-powered clinical workflows.

You will partner with CIOs and CMIOs across health systems to lead engagements, develop reference architectures, and drive adoption of generative AI using Bedrock and SageMaker while ensuring security, governance, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud computing, systems engineering, security, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Prior experience in the Healthcare industry / HIPAA/HITRUST; HL7; FHIR; PACS; EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing architecture discussions with healthcare IT and clinical leadership.
• Design HIPAA-compliant cloud architectures integrating with EHRs (Epic, Cerner) and HL7/FHIR standards.
• Drive adoption of generative AI and ML services (Bedrock, SageMaker, HealthLake) in regulated clinical environments.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, proposals, and cost optimization strategies for healthcare workloads.
• Build and own strategic relationships with senior healthcare executives across 30+ accounts.
