Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Custodian reporting to the EVS Manager to perform skilled cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance across acute and non-acute areas.

This role requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with English reading/writing ability and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a service industry
• Experience interacting with internal and external customers

• Demonstrated customer service skills appropriate to the job

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance duties in acute and non-acute in-patient, out-patient and non-patient areas
• Use and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Strip, wax floors and shampoo carpets as required
• Follow safety, infection control and department policies
