Job summary

Sentara Health Plans in Virginia Beach seeks a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to develop dashboards and reports that support clinical and operational decisions. You will translate complex data into actionable insights, partner with stakeholders, and mentor junior analysts.

Requires a Bachelor’s in information systems or health analytics, 3+ years SQL experience, EPIC/Clarity, Power BI, and Databricks expertise, with healthcare analytics focus and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, healthcare administration, or related field is required.
3+ years of SQL experience for data extraction, transformation and analysis.
EPIC/Clarity experience is required.
Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools is required.
Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms is preferred.
Experience in healthcare analytics including clinical, operational, or regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions to monitor program performance.
Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Mentor junior analysts and promote analytics best practices.
Support data quality and data stewardship across clinical and operational domains.
