Job summary

Vizient, Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst to deliver strategic planning and analytics support for Vizient/Sg2 clients, informing enterprise and network-level decisions.

You will lead moderately complex analyses, synthesize insights into executive-ready recommendations, present findings to leadership, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare strategy experience.
• Ability to translate data into executive-ready insights.
• Strong analytical, database, and Excel skills.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.
• Experience developing client-facing presentations.
• Broad knowledge of Vizient/Sg2 products, tools, and methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support system-wide strategic planning initiatives and market growth planning.
• Lead analyses and project workstreams informing growth priorities and access strategy.
• Conduct market assessments, competitive analyses, and demand evaluations.
• Synthesize data into clear strategic insights for executive audiences.
• Develop market share summaries, market scans, and service line growth assessments.
• Apply strategic frameworks and scenario analysis to growth options.
• Leverage Vizient/Sg2 data and external platforms for rigorous analytics.
• Present findings to client leadership and facilitate strategic discussions.
• Build strong internal and client stakeholder relationships to drive collaboration.
• Support project planning, data requirements, and timelines with minimal oversight.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing.
