Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Senior AI and Data Science Consultant to lead advanced analytics and AI initiatives across clinical, research, and operational domains. You will translate complex questions into end-to-end AI solutions, communicating results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 6+ years in data science, analytics or AI engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, strong modeling skills, and hands-on ML experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, MLOps/LLMOps, and responsible AI practices.
• Ability to translate business needs into analytical plans and communicate to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the strategic vision and lead design, implementation, and evaluation of advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
• Translate business questions into well-defined analytical or AI solutions and document findings and limitations.
• Collaborate with clinical, research, IT, and governance teams to move solutions from concept to deployment and monitoring.
• Lead across solution lifecycle, including data prep, model development, secure integration, and continuous improvement.
