Job summary

The Senior Librarian, Information Services Department at Jefferson Health, works across health sciences information delivery, delivering reference services, teaching, and supporting digital scholarship for patient care, education and research.

Based at the Dixon campus in Horsham, PA, you will collaborate with nursing and residency programs and participate in business and outreach efforts to advance access to scholarly resources across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Advanced literature searching techniques and systematic reviews
• Knowledge of medical/health sciences terminology and literature databases
• Understanding of education and professional paths in medicine, nursing and health sciences

Responsibilities

• Provide reference services to users online or in-person.
• Deliver in-depth consulting to faculty, students, researchers and clinicians.
• Mentor colleagues and collaborate on library programs and initiatives.
• Support digital scholarship and institutional publishing efforts.
