What You Will Achieve

The Rare Cardiac, Amyloidosis Multi-disciplinary Specialist (AMS) will target healthcare providers across multiple specialties, including hematology/oncology, neurology, primary care, and cardiology, in IDN/Health Systems and group practice accounts. This role focuses on executing ATTR-CM disease awareness initiatives with key customer stakeholders and reports to the Area Business Manager (ABM).

The AMS will demonstrate strong business acumen and an expert understanding of the local healthcare ecosystem. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales business plans to increase disease awareness and patient starts, utilizing approved marketing resources, and building relationships to enhance patient recognition. The role must adhere strictly to company policies and government regulations.

How You Will Achieve It
Account Planning & Collaboration
  • Prioritize customer opportunities and projects to maximize impact using data and stakeholder input.
  • Develop and execute territory business objectives and key performance metrics aligned with brand goals.
  • Maintain active customer profiles and plans, refining call strategies based on local factors.
Hybrid Execution / Advanced Selling Skills
  • Utilize advanced selling approaches (e.g., PSSF).
  • Align messaging with customer priorities, adapting as needed in complex environments.
  • Partner with customers to connect Pfizer resources to patient needs.
  • Educate on ATTR-CM disease, diagnostic procedures, and brand value propositions.
  • Implement marketing educational programs and adapt to marketplace changes.
Coordination & Business Acumen
  • Coordinate with other teams and subject matter experts to meet customer needs.
  • Gather insights from customers, analyze market data, and prioritize resources effectively.
Professional Development & Culture
  • Engage in continuous learning and self-improvement.
  • Share insights, drive innovation, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliant use of promotional materials and activities.
MUST-HAVE
  • 5-10 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to develop and monitor business plans.
  • Strong teamwork, analytical skills, and market insight application.
  • Adherence to company policies.
NICE-TO-HAVE
  • Experience in Rare Disease or Specialty areas (Cardiology, Hematology-Oncology, Neurology).
  • Product launch and hospital sales experience.
  • Experience with large academic centers and hospital systems.
Physical & Mental Requirements
  • Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as needed.
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record compliance.
