What You Will Achieve

The Rare Cardiac, Amyloidosis Multi-disciplinary Specialist (AMS) will target healthcare providers across multiple specialties, including hematology/oncology, neurology, primary care, and cardiology, across IDN/Health Systems and group practice accounts. This individual will primarily be responsible for executing ATTR-CM disease awareness initiatives with relevant customer stakeholders. The role reports to the Area Business Manager (ABM).

The AMS will demonstrate strong business acumen and an expert understanding of the healthcare ecosystem. They will develop detailed sales business plans, including partnerships with relevant colleagues, to accelerate new patient starts through increased disease awareness. The effective utilization of approved marketing resources to educate customers and build relationships is essential.

The AMS must adhere to all company policies and government regulations.

How You Will Achieve It
Account Planning & Collaboration
  • Prioritize customer opportunities and projects to maximize impact, using data and stakeholder input.
  • Develop territory business objectives and key performance metrics aligned with brand goals.
  • Maintain active customer profiles and data sets.
  • Refine call planning based on local factors such as access, geography, and customer alerts.
Hybrid Execution / Advanced Selling Skills
  • Utilize advanced sales techniques (e.g., PSSF).
  • Understand complex local market environments.
  • Use approved messaging tailored to customer needs.
  • Partner with customers to connect Pfizer resources to patient needs.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of ATTR-CM, related diagnostics, and clinical profiles.
  • Educate customers to raise disease awareness and support patient identification and treatment.
  • Implement marketing educational programs and deliver compliant, value-added messaging.
  • Adapt to market changes effectively.
Coordination
  • Coordinate with other customer-facing teams and subject matter experts to meet customer needs.
Business Acumen
  • Gather insights, anticipate opportunities and threats, and utilize market data for planning.
  • Prioritize resources based on customer insights.

MUST-HAVE
  • 5-10 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in Rare Disease or Specialty fields.

Physical & Mental Requirements
  • Ability to travel domestically, including overnight stays.
  • Valid US driver’s license.
