Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social or health science or related field.
• Five years of human subject research experience.
• Two years of project coordination experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• CITI certification preferred.
• Experience writing IRB submissions, protocol development, data collection and data analysis.
• Experience writing grant applications and proposals.
• Experience developing grant budgets and managing grant funding.

Responsibilities

• Manages research and community engaged projects.
• Maintains project schedules and calendars.
• Oversees completion of study and project activities per protocol.
• Ensures study and project protocols comply with regulations and reviews progress.
• Reviews scientific literature and recommends techniques and procedures.
• May manage study budgets and expenditures.
• Purchases project supplies, materials, equipment and services.
• Directs and may supervise study project personnel and research assistants.
• Assists with academic research, health program development and community engagement.
• Assists with editing and preparation of manuscripts.
• Facilitates services for researchers in trials, biostatistics, data analysis.
• Assists in hiring grant-funded research personnel.
• Creates data for grant submissions and develops new proposals.
• Ensures regulatory documents are completed in a timely manner.
• Prepares materials for IRB.
• Arranges and attends meetings, seminars and events.
• Participates in community meetings and outreach.
• Gathers and analyzes data.
• Contributes to web materials and educational content.
• Engages community partners in research.
