Job summary

  • Experience writing grant applications and proposals.

This role manages activities associated with biomedical and/or social-behavioral research studies and special projects considered very complex by the inclusion of several of the following: multiple investigators, teams, sites, sub-contracts, participants, longitudinal assessments/ interventions; and/or multi-million-dollar budgets. The Research Programs Manager ensures completion of contract requirements and client specifications. Oversees day-to-day operations including identifying and securing needed resources; creating, implementing, monitoring, and updating project plans; facilitating meetings with appropriate parties; tracking tasks/deliverables to ensure timelines, milestones and/or goals are attained; monitoring and reporting progress as appropriate; and resolving or escalating issues in a timely manner. The Research Programs Manager will advise other research assistants to best support faculty, resident physicians and medical student’s research and community engaged projects.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:** 1. Bachelor's Degree in social or health science or related field **EXPERIENCE:** 1. Five (5) years of human subject research experience 2. Attends program related community meetings and performs outreach 18. Gathers and analyzes data 19. Contributes to the development of project related web material, educational materials, and social media content 20.
