Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Solution Architect to join the Health Technology Management Services (HTMS) team for a contracted role with the VA. The ideal candidate will document current state architectures and develop future-state designs, focusing on data architectures and system interoperability.

This fully remote role is within the United States with core hours 8am-5pm ET, Monday to Friday, and requires 15+ years of experience in a healthcare/IT environment, strong communication and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is required.
• At least 15 years of related experience; more may substitute for education.
• Healthcare or Healthcare Insurance environment experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop a holistic view of current IT architecture and modernization plans.
• Build advisory relationships with the client and align roadmaps with strategy.
• Interface with users to determine needs and manage data across teams.
• Propose architectural solutions across multiple environments; support complex systems.
