Job summary

JPMorganChase's Morgan Health team seeks a Senior Associate for Data Science & Research in Washington, DC. You will query and synthesize large health data, design novel methodologies, and drive data-driven decisions for employer-sponsored insurance in collaboration with business partners.

You will work with data scientists and engineers to produce scalable analytics and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data quality and integrity across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in statistics, engineering, analytics, CS, economics, or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on analytics experience with SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools.
• Understanding of applied statistics and propensity-score matching.
• Proven ability to multitask and deliver with limited supervision.
• Experience presenting analytics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team-oriented collaborator with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into data-driven analytics projects and scalable processes.
• Clean, join, and analyze data while following HIPAA and data-use guidelines.
• Identify data sources and investigate data quality issues.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build well-documented code and data transformations in Python and SQL.
• Propose novel research questions relevant to employer-sponsored insurance.
• Compile externally-facing research briefs and papers with insights for employers.
