Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Morgan Health seeks a Senior Associate to lead data science and research efforts in Washington, DC. You will query, compile, and analyze large health data, design novel methods, and enable data-driven decisions for employer-sponsored insurance partners.

You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers, translate business needs into analytics projects, and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders while following HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, math, analytics, CS, econ, or public health.
• 4+ years of hands-on analytics experience with data wrangling, databases, coding languages, and visualization tools.
• Experience with applied statistics, regression and propensity-score methods.
• Ability to multitask, deliver results with limited supervision, and present insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into data analytics projects and scalable processes.
• Clean, join, and analyze data while following HIPAA and data-use guidelines.
• Identify data sources, assess quality, and investigate issues proactively.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to produce well-documented code and data transformations.
• Develop research questions and publish externally-facing briefs with actionable insights.
• Communicate analytics concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage multiple projects.
