Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, engineering, math, analytics, CS, public health, economics.
• 4 years of professional analytics experience with relational databases, data wrangling, coding and visualization tools.
• Experience with applied statistics including controlled regressions and propensity‑score matching.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into data‑driven analytics projects and scale processes.
• Clean, join, and analyze data while adhering to HIPAA and data use guidelines.
• Identify data sources, assess context/limitations, and investigate data quality issues.
• Collaborate with data scientists/engineers to produce well‑documented code and data transformations.
• Propose research questions and methodologies to solve employer‑sponsored insurance questions.
• Prepare externally facing briefs/papers to share insights with employers and industry.
• Review findings to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and balance multiple projects in a matrixed setting.
• Communicate analytics concepts and results to non‑technical teammates.
