Job summary

MCS Group is recruiting a Senior Health & Safety Consultant for a leading HSEQ consultancy operating across Ireland, the UK and Europe. This senior role requires extensive construction project exposure, leadership, and a proven ability to develop and manage management systems.

You will oversee ISO 45001/14001/9001 implementations, mentor H&S professionals, conduct audits, and liaise with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior H&S, HSEQ or consultancy experience.
• Experience developing and implementing management systems.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001.
• Previous team leadership/management experience.
• Strong audit, risk assessment and compliance experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of NI, ROI and UK H&S legislation.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior H&S consultancy across large-scale construction projects.
• Support clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain HSEQ management systems.
• Manage ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 systems and audits.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Review RAMS, contractor controls and project documentation.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage, mentor and develop H&S professionals.
• Manage multiple projects, client relationships and senior stakeholders.
• Produce technical reports, policies and management plans.
• Support the continued growth of the consultancy.
